this is a collection of my photography. personal works of mine, accompanied with music of my choice.

This is called a “bangka” or fishing boat. The beach of the ferry wasn’t sandy compared to Boracay but consisted of small pebbles.
Omgsh, this cute little puppy dog was at the ferry station. Here’s the humidity I was talking about, it’s all on that bottom portion of the photo. That despicable fog. Oh, well. I thought the doggy was too adorable.
Now we’re at the place where the hotel ferry will pick us up to take us to the hotel. The week that I visited Boracay was during “Habagat” season, which means monsoon season. It was extremely windy, with lots of rain. The usual temperate weather and calm seas were rocky. It did clear up the second day we were there.
I think this is like an effective panning picture? Haha, I remember learning it in photography, and I honestly could not replicate a nice shot. But this was taken as I was sitting in the moving bus going to the ferry station. I love the blur around the picture and the focus on the hut in the middle of the field. Some of the blur was also from the epic humidity that plagued my lens throughout my duration there. That was a pain in the butt.
Tricycles are a main method of transportation in the Philippines, you can find them everywhere. Petron, on the other hand, is the leading gasoline company in that country. I love how the lines are in this photos, and how the different elements come together. I have to admit that it’s extremely hard to take pictures through the glass windows of a car, I had a lot of glare from my pictures…
These first shots were taken along the way to the island of Boracay. We flew in from the mainland, in Kalibo, Aklan, which is around three hours away from the actual island? We had to commute by bus to get to a ferry that would take us to the actual hotel we would be staying at.
So this past summer, I went to Boracay in the Philippines. It’s world renowned for the most amazing beach in the world. And I have to admit, it truly is. Here is the journey encompassing that trip.
i really had fun playing around with this edit. she might not like this picture of her, but i love it because it’s so natural and fun. plus her smile is killer here.
