let's say.
epic fail on the 365.
i tried though. i only survived almost two-ish weeks, and then life got in the way. plus, i’m too much of a detail-oriented, perfectionist, type of person. i wanted the upcoming posts to be very genuine. i’ll continue this sometime during the middle of the year. or at least, i know now, that i want to post more stuff on my blog compared to last year.

after discovering this park on NBC 7/39’s telecast of “around san diego,” i must say that queen califia’s magical circle in kit carson park is one of my favorite go-to destinations. such a beautiful artistic rendition of california’s ancient myths from the native american/hispanic culture. it’s quite the colorful masterpiece. i think this...

went to lake miramar after school for a little lunch get together, which happened to be a delicious double-double cheeseburger from in & out, with my dear friend sienna. there were too many birds that were scavanging for left over pieces of bread, which i had none, because i finished my meal, hee.

you don’t understand my cravings for a certain kochakaden tea from okinawa, japan. the darn japanese stores in san diego do not carry this brand. but at least i have stores like these here to serve my lush desire for anything from home. i went to nijiya market after the commissary to stock up on a week’s snacks. i fancy myself buying c.c. lemon and aquarius.

i didn’t like the earlier post of me looking distorted because of the macbook pro photobooth, do i decided to alter my post into something i’ve been working on in photo. my current project is final series, and i’m doing a high contrast fashion spread in black and white film. here’s my contact sheet. i think this 365 is going to be quite the challenge.

for lackadaisical purposes, i really did not want to go outside today. i needed to take pictures of my sister for my upcoming photography assignment, and i ended up with a ladder in my ala “studio” which was the room i inhabit and sleep. here’s a picture of the light fixture in my room. one of the bulbs are out, eh.

as my family and i were driving back from bakersfield, it was snowing up on the freeway on the grapevine. apparently, the chp closed down this highway after we got off it, which turned out to be good, because i wouldn’t have went shopping and we would have been stuck on the road for the rest of the afternoon. i’m suprised that it snowed.

i love this tree at my auntie’s house in temecula. looks like the tree of life. i love the lines that the branches bring out. it’s almost symmetrical.
